LETR Victoria Receives Award

LETR Victoria and CCP Ashton would like to congratulate Wellington Proactive Polic-ing Unit’s Leading Senior Constable Kim Kell for winning the 2019 Chief’s Challenge. Kim organised a “Dunk-a-Cop” event in the local Sale mall where 100 members of the public lined up to hit a tar-get which dunked 6 local police members many times over. The event was a stun-ning success and raised a total of $500.
A special mention must be extended to Constable Roxy Leishman and Constable David Moloney from recruit squad 5/2019 who organised an academy torch run involving over 100 recruits and staff. A torch run was held around the academy grounds with sev-eral Special Olympics Athletes taking part. A BBQ followed that raised $313.

Torch Run celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
